About Us

The Streetmasters Staff
Fred Rau has described the Streetmasters Motorcycle Workshop instructors as "the highest-caliber imaginable." We've assembled a team of "master instructors" for you to learn from. These dedicated instructors, track marshals and staff are experienced motorcycle riders and well-respected training professionals with first-hand knowledge of proven riding techniques and skills. Our team is overseen by lead instructors, Bob Reichenberg and Walt Fulton III.

Walt Fulton III is a recognized name in motorcycling. A former three-time winner at Daytona and team racer for both Harley-Davidson and Kawasaki, he was a featured rider in the documentary "On Any Sunday." He is a BMW Legends racer, a professional motorcycle accident reconstruction expert, motorcycle journalist and a private riding instructor.

Bob Reichenberg has nearly 25 years experience in the motorcycle training field. He is the former manager of Training & Development at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and directed the nation-wide Chief Instructor Training Program. He is a former contributing editor and columnist for several national motorcycle magazines. Since 1999, he has served on the Motorcycle Safety Program Assessment Team for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Jann Reichenberg oversees Streetmasters' Registration and Student Services. She has an extensive background in newspaper publishing, advertising and marketing. Most recently she was the Director of Marketing, Public Relations and Market Research at the University of California in Irvine. She is also a former motorcycle training instructor.

Charlie Coyner, Streetmasters Instructor, has been involved in motorcycle training for nearly 25 years and is a former MSF Chief Instructor. He road raced in the 1970's and 80's, holding a WERA expert license. He enjoys long-distance motorcycling and has ridden hundreds of miles in 24-hour periods. He's also a staff member of Trackdaz. His favorite ride is Westgard Pass, on CA 168 from Big Pines into Nevada.

Dennis Pegelow, Streetmasters Instructor, has been riding for over 40 years. He road raced in the 1970's and 80's (starting on a Kawasaki 750 and then a TZ700) and is also a long-time dirt rider with two top ten finishes in national enduros. He operated DP Safety Schools from 1990 to 2004 and has also taught track schools for auto drivers. He has toured Europe, the Isle of Man, Alaska, Canada and Baja -- both on and off road.

Mike Douglas, Streetmasters Instructor, has been riding since 1986 and has logged well over 500,000 miles in 49 states, 10 Canadian provinces, Mexico and even Israel. A former MSF Chief instructor, Mike is currently part owner of JBJ Cycles, an independent service and accessories shop in Santa Ana, CA. Mike's stable includes a 1989 GL1500 with over 307,000 miles, a 2001 GL1800 with over 70,000 and a 2000 Victory V92C with over 28,000 miles.

Chris Sidah, Streetmasters Track Marshall, has been involved in the motorcycle business since 1964 and has been a mechanic since 1968. He promoted and organized club races at Willow Springs Raceway the mid 1970's. The former Tech Inspector and Track Marshall for DP Safety Schools, he now owns and operates Moto-Trek, a motorcycle shop in Atascadero, CA. He also writes Chris's Corner, the tech Q & A column for Rider magazine.

Nancy Foote, Streetmasters Track Marshall, is an avid motorcyclist who has been riding street bikes for over 20 years. She enjoys riding backroads and byways on any of her four bikes: a Honda CB-1, two Honda CBR400RRs and a Kawasaki ZRX-1200. She says a satisfying day is at least 300 miles and she averages about 15,000 miles a year. Nancy is a contributor to Motorcycle Consumer News.
